Member for Light Tony Piccolo, Light Regional Council mayor Bill O’Brien, Gawler mayor Brian Sambell and Minister for Correctional Services Tom Koutsantonis at the offi cial opening of the Gawler Community Correctional Centre.

GAWLER'S first 'community correctional centre' was officially opened yesterday.
The centre aims to ease pressure on the Elizabeth Community Correctional Centre, servicing people on parole, probation, bail and community service orders. Minister for correctional services Tom Koutsantonis said the $560,000 fit-out, on Calton road, would play "a critical role in the region".
